Time to Care Appeal

The Time to Care Appeal has been launched by Lewis-Manning Hospice to raise £2.5 million for a new facility which will allow us to enhance our existing services of day hospice, lymphoedema clinic and breathlessness clinic.

The message is hopeful for people with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses – with advances in modern medicine they are living longer.  However, this means living longer with often complicated symptoms and carers having to care for longer. The physical and emotional toil on the carer and family need to be acknowledged and Lewis-Manning aims to bridge the gap in this time of crisis.

With our new hospice building we will be able to provide planned respite, intensive rehabilitation and emergency access beds for patients living with life-threatening illnesses. This unique local service will support patients, carers and their families, and may well be the choice for some during the last days or weeks of their life.

All of our services will remain free of charge for all
